Anna is a graduate of the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk (Poland), who have received the title of professor of musical arts in 1994. In 2003-2020, she served as the chair of Chamber Music Faculty, and is a member of European Chamber Music Teachers Association. In 1985-2005, she was invited as an accompanist to the International Music Master Courses in Weimar, Bad Sobernheim (Germany) and Kozani (Greece). She has accompanied the greatest artists: Siegfried Palm, Thomas Zehetmair, Peter Damm, Maria Czajkowska, William Bennett, and many others. Her rich activities include solo (recitals and symphonic concerts) and chamber music (Gdańsk Trio) performances in Poland and in most of the European countries, also in Chile, Peru, Iran, Thailand.
She has conducted masterclass, seminars and lectures in Poland and in Belarus, Bulgaria, Iran, the Netherlands, Russia, Chile, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Switzerland, Greece, Peru, Lithuania. Anna is ofter invited to work as a jury member at numerous competitions both in Poland and abroad. Her students have been winning prizes at the chamber music competitions held in Paris, Rome, Oslo, Pörtschach, New York, Vilnius, Kaluga, Jesenik, Plovdiv, Monaco, Kyiv, Stockholm, Smarhon, and many other cities (over 230 prizes in total). She served as a director of the Johannes Brahms Chamber Music Competition in Gdańsk from 1997 to 2018, was a director of the International Piano Duo Festival in Gdańsk, in 2014, 2016, 2019, and of the All-Polish Artistic and Scientific Sessions “From the Forgotten Pages of Polish Chamber Music”.
Supervisor of 10 doctoral dissertations and reviewer in 47 cases, including doctorates, habilitations, and applications for the title of professor. As a pianist, she has collaborated in 17 doctoral defenses. She has released 8 albums, and has been awarded with a Silver and a Gold Crosses of Merit, also with the following medals: “For long Service” (Gold), Medal of the National Education Commission, “Gloria Artis”, and the Knight’s Cross of “Polonia Restituta”.
