Prizes planned to award in IX International Stasys Vainiūnas Competition for Pianists and Chamber Ensembles

  • According to the voting results and evaluation rules, the Jury (or founder of the prize) will decide who and which prize will get.
  • The Jury or Prize Founders decisions about prize winners are final and not subject to appeal.
  • These decisions have primacy and take precedence over the announced rules of prize distribution if the two conflict.

    I Prize: 3 000 EUR
    II Prize: 2 000 EUR
    III Prize: 1 000 EUR

    3 Diploma Prizes: 500 EUR each    		 I Prize: 4 000 EUR
    II Prize: 3 000 EUR
    III Prize: 2 000 EUR

    3 Diploma Prizes: 700 EUR each
    Special prizes:
    for the best performance of S. Vainiūnas compositions
    in the I and II Rounds: 500 EUR
    Special prizes:
    for the best performance of S. Vainiūnas compositions
    in the I Round: 500 EUR
    *(except for String Quartets)
    for the best performance of S. Vainiūnas Piano Concerto
    in the Final: 500 EUR    		 For the String Quartets:
    for the best performance of S. Vainiūnas Piano Quintet
    in the Final: 500 EUR
    *(with the Pianist provided by the Competition)


    Other Concert Prizes or Awards from the public or private initiatives may be announced and awarded until the end of the Competition
